Expert psychological support for young people and adults navigating a time of distress
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and tailored to you. I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel heard and understood, and where we can work together to make sense of your experiences.
I have eight years experience working in the NHS with clients ranging from 13 - 65 years old living with a severe mental illness. I enjoyed over four years working in a specialist psychosis service. I currently work in East London with young people under 18 navigating the criminal justice system and facing mental health difficulties. I hold an enhanced DBS.
I have particular experience working with adults and young people experiencing complex mental health difficulties. I adapt my approach to meet each client, including for those who are neurodivergent. I am always learning how to support individual needs and welcome direction on any adaptations required.
At the heart of my work is a focus on reducing shame, building understanding and helping you make meaningful, lasting changes at your own pace.
Everyone is unique and I know starting therapy can feel daunting. Acknowledging you may need support can bring up a lot of different feelings. I welcome any questions you have. Please get in touch and we can discuss if me, and CBT, are the right fit for you right now.
